the Blue Square South which is two leagues above the Robins, were always second best as Frome deservedly took the lead through Matt Minnis after Kev
Sawyer had been forced into a good save and the striker snapped up the rebound. Right on the stroke of half-time the scores were back level after Jamie
Cheeseman put through his own goal but a great second half performance saw Minnis grab his second after a superb left wing cross from Thomson was

goals in stoppage time. Mark Salter had given Frome a 21st minute lead from the penalty spot but a brilliant strike from Jake Reid gave debutant ‘keeper
Tom Pass, on loan from Forest Green Rovers, no chance within a minute of play re-starting. It stayed that way until the 75th minute when Lee Hoskin
nipped in to put Cirencester ahead but the real drama was still to come! With Frome pushing for an equaliser in the last minute the ball fell to Salter just
inside the area and he smashed the ball home to the delight of the home support who were more than happy to take a point from their high riding opponents
but deep into stoppage time Salter found himself clean through on goal and was hauled down in the penalty area which saw Matt Sysum red carded for the
foul and Salter completed his hat-trick from the spot to the earn the victory to the delight of the Frome faithful.
