[Taken from the matchday magazine on 04/11/09 vs Cirencester]
First of all I would like to welcome the players, officials and supporters of Cirencester Town to Frome
tonight for this Zamaretto League fixture. A special welcome to their manager Brian Hughes, who has done
such a good job since going back as manager.
Cirencester are currently sitting second in the league and the players and I are under no illusions just how
tough tonight’s game will be against one of the promotion favourites.

On Saturday at Bridgwater Town I would probably have taken a point before the game but at the end of the
90 minutes I was disappointed that we had not come away with all three points. I felt we had the better
chances on the day, hit the post and also had a goal disallowed and I was delighted with the way the lads
played and once again showed great character after going a goal behind.

On the injury front we have one or two niggles, which may mean bringing in one or two players for tonight.
On the transfer front Ian Kennedy will be joining Paulton Rovers and Tom Piotrowski will be joining Bitton. I would like to wish both players all the very
best at their new clubs and thank them for their services at Frome Town.

On Thursday 12th November at 8.00pm we as a club will be holding another meet the manager forum, where this time there will also be a player
available. We would like to see as many of you there as possible and I can assure you I will be as open and frank as last time.
Thank you once again to the 60 or 70 supporters who made the trip to Bridgwater last Saturday. It was well appreciated and you have a massive role to
play tonight in getting behind the lads, as we are well aware of the tough task in front of us.
Enjoy the game and hope to see you all back here on Saturday against Andover.
Yours
Darren
