The screen displays all the information regarding the status of the system and is also where the operator selects and sets up the batches. This particular screen is the "Progress Screen" which shows the information relating to the progress of each of the three ingredient streams during a batch being made..
Top LEDs are used to display warnings - flashing red LEDs indicate problems
Bottom LEDs are used to display Batch Progress. As the Batch approaches 100%, the flashing green LEDs change to flashing red to indicate Batch nearing completion. Very useful as operators can gauge batch progress from a distance.
The % of Total value is one of the most useful figures during a Batch Run, as it immediately gives an indication of the control accuracy of the system, and indicates when each of the flows will be complete. In practices, the flows all finish within seconds of each other after several hours of running.
The screen shows
The required LPH and the current LPH for each ingredient
The Valve Open %for each ingredient flow
The Total Litres required and the Litres used for each ingredient
The % of Total Litres passed
for each ingredient.
